David Grey opened for 3,000 from middle position and Johnny Chan called from the big blind. Each player drew one card. Chan bet 6,000 and Grey called. Chan showed 7-6-5-4-2 and Grey mucked.
After the hand, Chan was up to 43,000 while Grey was down to 56,000. -

Barry Greenstein raised to 3,100 and Andy Black called. Greenstein drew one while Black stood pat. Greenstein bet 10,000 after the draw and Black called. Black showed a 10-low and Greenstein mucked.

Tom "Donkey Bomber" Schneider raised to 1,600 and was called by Bob Stupak, John Juanda and Gavin Smith. Schneider drew one, Stupak drew two, Juanda drew two and Smith drew two. Schneider bet 4,000 more after the draw and all three opponents folded.
Schneider was up to 85,000 after the hand. -

Bruno Needs a Lowball Ring
After Bruno Fitoussi folded a hand, he caught Lindgren staring at a ring he was wearing that has a royal flush engraved on it.

Gavin Smith Takes a Pot from Tony G
Gavin Smith raised to 2,500 from middle position, Tony G called from the button and John Juanda called from the big blind. Juanda drew two, Smith rapped pat, and Tony G drew one. After the draw, Juanda checked, Smith checked, Tony G bet 4000, Juanda folded and Smith called. Tony G showed T-8-4-3-2, bested by Smith's 9-6-5-3-2.
After the hand, Smith was up to 35,000 while Tony G stood at 64,600. -

David Williams Eliminated
2006's second-place finisher David Williams was just eliminated from the tournament.
Williams called all in for his last 500 from the small blind. He drew one and the big blind drew three. Williams showed J-9-7-5-4, but his opponent got lucky and hit a T-8-7-3-2 to eliminate Williams.
